Water Courts to hear water rights and interstate compacts disputes are separated by major Colorado River Basin into seven divisions and also by Designated Ground Water Basin.

Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB)
CWCB promotes the protection, conservation and development of Colorado's water resources, funds water conservation projects, and minimizes the risk of flood damage and the impact of drought.

The Interbasin Compact Committee (IBCC) is a state-wide committee that addresses issues between basins and helps manage the basin roundtable process.

The Water Quality Control Division of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) administers drinking water standards, water pollution discharge programs, and related permitting activities.   They also provide info on water quality testing for water wells.
Colorado Geological Survey (CGS) Water Studies Colorado Geological Survey (CGS) Water Studies
CGS conducts scientific studies of how geology affects and controls the water resources within Colorado such as acid mine drainage and coalbed methane stream depletion studies. It also maps ground water resources throughout the state.
